The Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights (LCCR) is a non-profit law office that provides juvenile defense for New Orleans area children and representation for Louisiana children facing or serving life without parole. It also advocates for policies that reduce the number of children in the justice system and seeks better alternatives to arrest and incarceration.
On March 28, 2019, our firm sponsored Celebration for Children’s Rights, an annual event benefiting LCCR. This year’s program included a personal account of LCCR’s success in representing children convicted of life without parole, and it highlighted other LCCR success stories. LCCR began a new tradition by presenting its first Pascal Calogero Champion of Justice Award, an annual award recognizing an individual or organization that is positively impacting the lives of children in the justice system.
Our firm is honored to support and sponsor such an exceptional cause.
