Tyler handles product liability, premises exposure and commercial litigation matters. Drawing on her background representing plaintiffs in high-stakes cases, Tyler brings a unique perspective to defense strategy, allowing her to anticipate opposing arguments and craft strong, proactive legal solutions for her clients.
A New Orleans native, Tyler grew up on the Westbank and graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2022, where she earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Torts, Legal Writing, and Constitutional Law. During law school, Tyler gained valuable legal experience through multiple internships, including one with the Honorable Rachael Johnson.
Prior to joining KPW, Tyler represented plaintiffs in a wide range of litigation matters, including personal injury, property damage, and construction disputes. She worked closely with her team to advocate for injured clients through resolution in settlement and in trial—recently securing favorable outcomes in both a jury trial and a bench trial in state court. This firsthand experience handling complex injury claims from the plaintiff’s side gives Tyler an in-depth understanding of case valuation, litigation tactics, and the strategies used by opposing counsel—insight that she now leverages to provide strategic, results-driven defense advocacy for her clients.
Before entering private practice, Tyler completed a judicial clerkship with Judge Pro Tempore Richard Perque at the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. In this role, she was actively involved in significant hearings, bench trials, and jury trials, gaining a deep understanding of the judicial process and trial court procedures.
