Cory focuses his practice on environmental, toxic tort and commercial litigation. Upon joining the firm, he immediately assisted in an ongoing commercial trial. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Cory graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. During law school, he served as the President of the Board of Advocates, was inducted into the Order of the Barristers National Honor Society for his oral and written advocacy achievements, served as a faculty research assistant to the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Director, competed twice as a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court team, was nominated for membership with the Wex Malone Inn of Court, worked in the Juvenile Defense Clinic providing legal representation to juvenile clients, and gained extensive exposure to both criminal and civil defense litigation practice while employed as a law clerk in Baton Rouge.
Cory’s experience in theatre and acting, as well as his undergraduate degree in Communication Design, form the basis of his solid written and oral advocacy skills.
After law school, Cory made the decision to move to New Orleans with his partner, two dogs, and very cranky cat. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, and playing tabletop board games with friends.
