Alease T. Scott
Alease is an Associate in the New Orleans office of Kuchler Polk Weiner, LLC. Her practice consists primarily of environmental and oil and gas litigation. Alease has extensive experience with the production and review of large scale discovery. Her experience includes organizing and indexing productions while identifying significant documents and analyzing deficiencies of incoming discovery. She is proficient in both hard-copy and electronic discovery.
Alease received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012, and received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2015. During her time at Southern Law, Alease was a research assistant and was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Leadership Award and the Student Bar Association President’s Award. Alease spent the summer after her first year studying abroad at University College London, at which time she studied Comparative Constitutional Law.
After graduating from Southern Law, Alease was a law clerk at Louisiana’s Thirty-Eighth Judicial District Court and Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Division J. Alease is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for Middle District of Louisiana and all Louisiana state courts. She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society.
When she is not working, Alease enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants around the city, traveling, attending festivals, and cheering on the Saints.
