KPW Joins ACLU of Louisiana’s Justice Lab: Putting Racist Policing on Trial

Kuchler Polk Weiner, along with 18 other leading private law firms, is joining ACLU of Louisiana’s initiative to challenge racially discriminatory policing practices. The litigation campaign, Justice Lab: Putting Racist Policing on Trial, plans “to bring up to 1,000 cases in Louisiana challenging racially-motivated stops and seizures under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments and any other applicable laws.” The firm is honored to support this effort.

KPW Participates in the Children’s March for Racial Justice

On June 20, 2020, Kuchler Polk Weiner attorneys and staff members participated in the Children’s March for Racial Justice, hosted by the ACLU of Louisiana. The firm was a co-sponsor of the event, the goal of which was to “provide a safe space for young people to learn about the Black Lives Matter Movement; develop the skills to identify and interrupt racism in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities; and make their voices heard about the future they want to build.”
