KPW Attorneys Participate in Ford’s Global Day of Service

Ford Motor Company’s Legal Alliance for Women (LAW) hosted the Second Annual Global Day of Service on September 26, 2019, which focuses on servicing organizations who support the well-being of women and girls. The LAW Global Day of Service is part of Ford Global Caring Month, a signature worldwide event of the Ford Volunteer Corps in 34 countries during the month of September. As part of Ford’s Global Day of Service, Kuchler Polk attorneys, Amber Barlow and Kennard Davis, served dinner to approximately 85 residents of The Covenant House New Orleans. The Covenant House New Orleans is a shelter for homeless, trafficked, and at risk youth. The Covenant House provides food, shelter, medical care, clothing, counseling, assistance programs, vocational and job training, educational assistance, as well as many other life skills and training to help the youth rebuild their lives.

Three KPW Attorneys Named to WEN 2019 Board of Directors

KPW congratulates Skylar Rudin, Kristyn Lambert, and Amber Barlow on their selection to the 2019 Board of Directors for the Women’s Energy Network’s (WEN) South Louisiana Chapter. Skylar will serve as Vice President, Kristyn will serve as the New Orleans Program Co-Director and Dinner Auction Co-Chair, and Amber holds the position of Scholarships Chair.

Michele will serve as President, Kristyn will serve as the New Orleans Program Co-Director and Dinner Auction Co-Chair, Skylar will serve as the New Orleans Special Events Director, and Amber holds the position of Scholarships Chair.

WEN-South Louisiana Announces 2017 Board of Directors

Kuchler Polk is pleased to announce that Michele Hale DeShazo, Amber Barlow, and Skylar Rudin have been selected to serve on the Board of Directors in 2017 for the Women’s Energy Network’s (WEN) South Louisiana Chapter. Michele served as Sponsorship Director in 2016, and will move to the position of Vice President in 2017, while Amber and Skylar will once again serve as the New Orleans Programming Directors and Silent Auction Co-Chairs.
