Alease T. Scott
Alease is an Associate in the New Orleans office of Kuchler Polk Weiner. Her practice consists primarily of environmental and oil and gas law, including Act 312 litigation.
Alease received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center, where she was a research assistant. She was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Leadership Award and the Student Bar Association President’s Award. Alease spent the summer after her first year studying abroad at University College London, at which time she studied Comparative Constitutional Law.
After graduating from Southern Law, Alease was a law clerk at Louisiana’s Thirty-Eighth Judicial District Court and Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Division J. Alease is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association.
Alease spends her leisure time traveling and attending sporting events and festivals.
